Deb Cervantez, CEO/Co-Founder


Deb brings 18 years of Human Resources experience to our team along with her SHRM-CP and aPHR certifications. She has worked in both public and private sector organizations in every level of HR. She has had extensive experience with governmental agencies, as well as, in hospitality and various service industries. Her ability to function as our HR guru can make the headaches of managing your human capitol disappear. No one likes having critical conversations with employees except Deb! She has the knack to make critical conversations a time of self realization and growth allowing our clients to retain employees who are engaged high performers, and escort low performers on to the next chapter of their lives, by helping them to identify what they can excel at. By bringing us in, with her at the helm, to help manage employment issues our clients are able to focus on moving business forward and not being bogged down by the negative impact and high cost of low performers that plague growing businesses. Deb is also an asset to her clients by providing policy, handbook and other necessary document templates and reviews.  Deb currently serves as the Past President of the Lakes Area Human Resources Association, which is a local chapter of the Society of Human Resource Management.  In Deb’s previous positions she has also been the event planner extraordinaire. She has planned NUMEROUS corporate retreats, student recognition dinners, educational symposiums, fundraising events, and employee engagement activities. 

Kirsten Smith, COO/Co-Founder


Kirsten hails from a “Big Fat Greek Family” that was dedicated to hospitality! They owned and operated one of the largest hotels and exhibition centers in North Dakota. She has worked in most every capacity there is, from the coat check to high end plate service for 500, she has managed to garner pertinent experience from it all. She eventually found her passion in health care after a life changing event. Her passion to care for people landed her working for large city ER’s and ICU units as a Respiratory Care Practitioner. After moving to MN, she started working for a national durable medical equipment company and quickly doubled the local patient base and more than doubled revenue, ethically, simply by identifying needs and caring for her patients. She quickly became known throughout the company and was used as a corporate trainer, throughout the US. Eventually, Kirsten became the Director of Respiratory and Sleep Services for a critical access facility in central MN. Within two years she built a booming department that functioned independently with therapist driven protocols. The department initially had 2 employees and an annual deficit of $24,000, she built the department into a family of 11 that generated revenue between 1.2-1.7 million annually. Her ability to build teams, generate growth, increase quality, and maintain a high level of employee engagement earned her a number of Studor Pillar awards multiple years running. 

Rita Miller, CFO/Co-Founder


Rita brings to our team a passion for streamlining the tedious tasks of day to day business operations and a keen eye for details! Her attention to detail can help you to maximize productivity and decrease wasted human capitol on low value or non-revenue generating tasks. Rita owned and operated a subsidiary Super Value grocery store that thrived with growth and sustainability in rural MN. She has since helped to build unprecedented growth in the retail and durable medical equipment business. Rita understands the need to be innovative and forward thinking when it comes to service delivery and maximizing moments with customers to make an everlasting connection. Her spunk and humor will make her an invaluable asset while assessing and training your teams to succeed, while being fiscally aware! Rita is also a party planning wiz! With her touch of class and sass she is a wonderful resource and can make any event a soiree your attendees will talk about for a lifetime!
